MX Pro’s “2-Catch” Magnetic Oil Crankcase Drain Plugs come at a very low cost for a product that offers extra engine protection, increases your bike’s engine life and are a direct replacement part. Your oil filter can't catch everything and does not! Don't let this oil change go by without installing a “2-Catch” magnetic drain plug! You want to do the most you can to keep that oil clean -  clean oil is the life blood of the engine.

Most bikes’ crankcase oil is in one department which is for the engine internals (crank, piston etc), gearbox and clutch, this means there can be quite a few damaging metal particles dropping into the oil. The smallest particles are metal particles and they can destroy your engine very quickly. Since the oil in the sump runs through the oil pump before it hits the filter, the filter can't really protect the pump. Every time you miss a gear a very small amount of metal comes off the gearbox gears or even worse a tooth can break off, the “2-Catch” magnetic drain plug will catch most of these items that damage to the engine. Stop engine damage before it can begin!
 

• All plugs have a tie wire hole in the head, when installed with wire correctly, this acts as extra insurance to keep the plug from coming loose (check gallery to view this)
• All drain plugs come with sealing washers

Installation - Drain plugs should be tightened to factory settings. When drain plug is installed (with new oil) run engine until hot, check sealing area for leaks. Let engine cold down and make sure drain plug is tightened to the correct setting. (We do advise to use the tie wire setup, extra insurance costs nothing)
